An exceptional late 19th-century Art Nouveau bronze study depicting a seated female musician, gracefully poised upon a large stool while delicately playing a mandolin. Beautifully sculpted, the figure is dressed in richly textured medieval-inspired robes adorned with exquisite hand-chased decoration, showcasing the remarkable craftsmanship of the period. The finely cast bronze is complemented by a masterfully carved ivory face and hands, creating a striking contrast highlighting the elegance and realism of the composition.
