Lucien Alliot
Lucien Charles Alliot, French ~ 1877 to 1967 – a pupil of Barrias and Jules F. Coutan. He exhibited regularly exhibited at the Salon de la Société des Artistes Français between 1905 and 1939, receiving third prize which included a travel scholarship in 1907 as well as membership. Alliot went on to win gold medal in 1920. Alliot became president of the Salon in 1934. Having declared out of competition, he was on the sculpture judging panel from 1934 to 1939.
