About Roxy...

Growing up around my father, Steve Winterburn an internationally known sculptor, was the greatest inspiration to my art career. Seeing my Dad’s love for his work and passion for life drove me to pursue a similar way of life and make the most of the life we have. 

I am also lucky enough to have travelled to many parts of the world and had some amazing experiences already, and I intend to continue to do so. From feeding and playing with the baby elephants at the orphanage in Kenya, staying in Tsavo National Park on safari on several occasions, to completing my advanced scuba diving course in the Red Sea, even a trip to Disney World with my Best friend. All these things inspire my art.

I always enjoyed learning new things and achieved my first-class honours degree in chemistry with forensic science and toxicology in 2016. After this, I took a gap year before pursuing a career in forensic science, to enjoy creating my art. However, it would seem that the world had other plans for me as I got picked up by Castle Galleries, who said they wanted to represent my sculpture. The rest is history as they say! The Journey has been incredibly humbling and fun filled and I can’t wait to see where it leads me next!
