François Clemencin (French, 1878 ~ 1950) was known as a medalist and for his figurative and finely chiselled bronze statues. He exhibited mostly bucolic subjects in plaster and bronze in the Art Nouveau style including women, bathers and bacchantes seemingly surprised in the innocence of their daily lives.
