    CLEMENCIN, FRANCOIS

Sorry, there are no products in this collection

François Clemencin (French, 1878 ~ 1950) was known as a medalist and for his figurative and finely chiselled bronze statues. He studied under Jules Coutan and exhibited at the Paris Salon of the Société des Artistes Français from 1907 ~ 30 where he received many medals and gained an honorable mention. He exhibited mostly bucolic subjects in plaster and bronze in the Art Nouveau style including women, bathers and bacchantes seemingly surprised in the innocence of their daily lives.
