Georges Vandevoorde (Belgian, 1878 ~ 1970) was a Belgian artist born on April 30, 1878 and worked in France. He was the director of the decorative arts academy in Molenbeek. His work is illustrated in Art Deco and other figures by Brian Catley published by Antique collectors club. He was featured in Etains 1900 by Philippe Dahhan, in Dictionnaire Des Peintres, Sculpteurs, Dessinateurs Et Graveurs by E. Benezit, published by Gründ and in Jean Charles Hachet’s book Dictionnaire illustré des sculpteurs animaliers & fondeurs de l'Antiquité à nos jours published by Argus Valentines. Vandevoorde died on June 17, 1964.
