ABOUT
Gill Parker is a British sculptor, best known for her highly accomplished animal bronzes, especially equestrian work. She lives and works in rural Gloucestershire, surrounded by animals, which deeply inform her understanding of anatomy, movement and character in sculpture. Gill’s career in bronze began in 1983; her first pieces were bought by Garrard & Asprey, and her first solo show followed in 1984 at Sladmore Gallery. Her works range from limited edition models to one-off commissions, and she has created many notable pieces including the life‑size Motivator at Ascot Racecourse.
