ABOUT
Onu Art Deco Bronze
Aurore Onu - French, Early 20th Century ~ Onu was a companion of M Bouraine. Their address in the 1920s was also very close to the home of Pierre Le Faguays. Onu executed a number of sculptures in bronze as well as bronze and ivory for the film of Les Neveux de J Lehmann, and she exhibited one of these, Bacchante au Thyrse, a femal faun with a circular thyrsus, at the 1924 Salon des Artistes Francais. Her figures are mainly athletic female figures showing both beauty and elegance.
