Bouraine Bronze
Marcel Andre Bouraine - French, 1886 to 1948 ~ Born in Pontoise in 1886, Bouraine was a prominent French sculptor known for his contributions to the Art Deco movement. He began his artistic journey as a student of Jean-Alexandre Joseph Falguière and soon developed a distinctive style that captured the elegance and modernity of the Art Deco era. Bouraine's works are characterised by their dynamic forms, smooth lines, and a sense of movement that reflects the period's fascination with speed, technology, and modern life.
