ABOUT
Alexandre Ouline was a Belgian-born sculptor who worked primarily in France during the Art Deco period. Active between roughly 1918 and 1940, he became known for his finely crafted bronze, terracotta, and marble sculptures. Ouline specialised in expressive human figures, athletes, busts, and animal subjects, particularly panthers and other dynamic wildlife forms. His work combined classical modelling with the sleek, modern aesthetics characteristic of Art Deco design. Renowned for technical skill and elegant composition, Ouline’s sculptures remain highly sought after by collectors today.
